Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa, who is currently in custody in connection with the Renukaswamy murder case, was moved on Thursday from Parappana Agrahara Central prison to Ballari prison with heightened security measures in place. This transfer to Ballari Central Prison, known as the 'Kala Pani of Karnataka', signifies a relocation to a facility with limited amenities. Darshan is expected to remain here at least until September, and if there is a court proceeding, he may be presented via video call.
